Ingredients (1 glass):
3 cups of peas (fresh or frozen)
1 cup of fresh wild garlic
2 tablespoons of yeast flakes
½ cup of nuts (e.g. cashew nuts)
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Lime juice
Preparation:
- Put the peas into water and even cook them. If you use frozen peas, let them thaw them first. Finally, start with cold water
- Put the peas into a bowl together with the wild garlic, salt, pepper and yeast flakes. Then puree until you get a creamy pesto
- Now add the olive oil and some lime juice and mix everything together
- Now add the nuts to the pesto and crush them with the help of a mixer until they are shredded, but still in pieces
- Serve the pesto with the pasta of your choice
