Vegan Carrot Bacon

You love Bacon, do without but meat? This simple recipe for vegan carrot bacon makes vegan eating even easier - and better! By the way, you can also use the vegan bacon strips perfectly as snack and beat cravings with something healthy. Treat your body with a 3, 5 or 7 days juice cleanse break and say goodbye to cravings. Ingredients (2 portions):

2 large thick carrots

45ml soy sauce

15ml peanut oil

½ tsp smoked salt

1 tsp paprika powder

1 tsp garlic powder

5g miso paste

5g mustard

Preparation:

    1. First preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air
    2. Then peel the washed carrots one by one with a kitchen peeler to create bacon-like slices
    3. Then mix the soy sauce, peanut oil, smoked salt, paprika powder, garlic powder, miso paste and mustard to make a marinade
    4. Then place the carrots on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush the marinade on both sides with a brush
    5. Now place the baking tray in the oven for approx. 10 to 15 minutes, remove and leave to cool briefly
    6. The vegan bacon can now be served with anything as a side dish or simply eaten straight away! Simply enjoy!
