There are now many vegan varieties of grilled sausages on the market. However, most varieties are actually made from soy, which many people do not tolerate very well. We have therefore created a simple basic recipe for vegan cevapcici grill sausages made from seitan for you. You can season the basic recipe however you like and use it for other recipes too. Especially after a juice cleanse you should avoid foods that are difficult to digest, such as meat, for the first few days. If you still fancy delicious grilled sausages, our vegan cevapcici grilled sausages are a perfect alternative.
Ingredients (4 portions):
250g Seitanfix
3 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp paprika powder
2 tbsp yeast flakes
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp mustard
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp tomato paste
250ml water
aluminum foil
Preparation:
- First mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl: Seitanfix, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, yeast flakes, paprika powder, salt and pepper
- Then mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl: mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, tomato puree and water
- Now mix all the ingredients and knead well with your hands
- Now form sausages with your hands and wrap them in aluminum foil like small sweets
- Spread the sausage sweets on a baking tray and place in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C fan oven
- The vegan cevapcici grilled sausages are now ready to be used again. You can now grill them or fry them in a pan, bon appétit!
