Fitness gingerbread

In the coming Christmas season, we can once again look forward to delicious delicacies again. Today we have a delicious low carb gingerbread recipe for you so that you can enjoy them without a guilty conscience. Less carbohydrates, but all the more protein. With our fitness gingerbread, we prove that fitness and snacking can go hand in hand.

Ingredients (12 gingerbread cookies):

2 eggs

60g ground hazelnuts

50g ground almonds

50g LiveFresh Protein mix chocolate

30g honey

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp gingerbread spice

50g dark chocolate coating

12 baking wafers

Chopped pistachios (topping)


  1. First preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan and line a baking tray with baking paper

  2. Now beat the eggs with a whisk, add the protein mix and mix well until there are no more lumps

  3. Then add all the other ingredients except the dark chocolate and mix everything well

  4. Now spread the baking wafers on the baking tray and place the mixture in small balls on the wafers and flatten with your fingers

  5. Then place in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes

  6. Finally, leave the gingerbread to cool, melt the chocolate in the meantime, coat the gingerbread and top with pistachios

  7. Enjoy!
