Protein apple pockets

Protein apple pockets are a delicious and healthy treat that will spoil you with a perfect combination of proteins and the refreshing taste of apples.

Ingredients (1 serving):

2 Protein Wraps

2 apples (preferably sour varieties like Granny Smith)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons xylitol (or other sweetener)

Coconut oil

Preparation:

  1. Peel the apples, core it and cut it into small cubes

  2. Now heat the coconut oil in a pan and add the apple cubes

  3. Then you can sprinkle the cinnamon and xylitol on top and steam the mixture over medium heat for about 5 min.

  4. Now spread the steamed apple pieces on the protein wraps and fold them into a pocket shape.

  5. Heat some coconut oil in a pan and fry the apple pockets on both sides over medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy

  6. Remove the finished protein apple pockets from the pan and let cool on a plate before serving
