The allergens, e.g. apples or carrots, are proteins, i.e. they can be denatured by heat and thus inactivated. However, our juices are not heated during production and preservation. They are pressure-pressed and preserved. This process is much gentler on heat-sensitive substances such as vitamins. As expected, the allergens should also be preserved. In practice, however, customers have increasingly reported that they have not experienced any allergic reactions to our apple juice. The apple variety also plays a decisive role in the amount of allergens. Older apple varieties are less allergenic than newer, over-bred varieties. This could be another reason why some allergy sufferers have not noticed any symptoms when consuming our apple juice. However, as allergic reactions vary greatly from person to person, it is not possible to make a conclusive and uniform statement on this. Perhaps you should carefully test a few of our juices first. Apple is included in many of our juices.
