Curd-oil dough bunnies

The Easter period is a wonderful time to get creative in the kitchen and Easter treats to create Easter treats. In this recipe we will Quark Easter bunnies a sweet and delicious addition to any Easter basket.

Ingredients (10 quark bunnies):

300g flour

50g sugar

1 sachet vanilla sugar

1 sachet baking powder

1 egg

125g low-fat quark

60ml milk

50g oil

1 egg yolk

Some milk to coat

Preparation:

    1. Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder in a bowl

    2. In a separate bowl, mix together the egg, low-fat quark, milk and oil

    3. Then add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well until you have a smooth batter

    4. Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide into small portions

    5. Shape each portion into a roll and then into a bunny

    6. Now whisk the egg yolk with a little milk and brush the bunnies with it

    7. Place the bunnies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 15-20 minutes at 180°C.°C until they are golden brown in color

    8. Remove the bunnies from the oven and leave to cool
