Nutty oat cookies with jam

Jam gives many Christmas cookies that certain something. With our recipe for the low-carb version with jam, we show you how to prepare this traditional treat without sugar or cereal flour. Look forward to the popular Christmas cookies in a healthy and very aromatic low-carb version.

Ingredients (approx. 30 pieces):

100g ground almonds

100g spelt flour

60g ground walnuts

40g rolled oats

70g erythritol

100g butter

1 egg

Sugar free jam


  1. First mix the ground almonds, walnuts, spelt flour, rolled oats and erythritol in a bowl, make a small hollow in the middle, add the egg to the hollow, spread the butter in flakes, then knead the dough well and place in the fridge for 30 minutes

  2. Then preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat

  3. Now roll out the dough to a thickness of approx. 4 mm on a floured surface and cut out the biscuits

  4. Make a hole in the middle of half of the cut-out cookies and place in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes

  5. Finally, spread jam on the unperforated cookies, place the perforated biscuits on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar

  6. Enjoy!
