With these vegan and healthy Chocolate brownies you can satisfy your chocolate craving without a guilty conscience. The brownies consist of natural ingredients and are a healthy alternative to conventional brownies.

Ingredients (18 brownies):
300g vegan dark chocolate
150g coconut oil
180g xylitol (or other plant-based sweeteners)
150g spelt flour
50g cocoa
1 pinch of salt
300g applesauce
100ml oat drink
Preparation:
- Set the oven to 180°C and line a brownie tin with baking paper
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bain-marie, stir in the xylitol
- In a separate bowl, mix together the spelt flour, cocoa and salt
- Add the apple sauce and oat drink to the chocolate mixture and stir well
- Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until a smooth batter forms
- Pour the batter into the prepared brownie tin and smooth it out
- Bake in the oven for approx. 25-30 minutes
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool before cutting the brownies into pieces and serving
Tip: With chopped nuts or berries as a topping, your brownies will be a real eye-catcher!
