Vegan and healthy chocolate brownies

With these vegan and healthy Chocolate brownies you can satisfy your chocolate craving without a guilty conscience. The brownies consist of natural ingredients and are a healthy alternative to conventional brownies.

Ingredients (18 brownies):

300g vegan dark chocolate

150g coconut oil

180g xylitol (or other plant-based sweeteners)

150g spelt flour

50g cocoa

1 pinch of salt

300g applesauce

100ml oat drink 

Preparation:

  1. Set the oven to 180°C and line a brownie tin with baking paper
  2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bain-marie, stir in the xylitol
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the spelt flour, cocoa and salt
  4. Add the apple sauce and oat drink to the chocolate mixture and stir well
  5. Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until a smooth batter forms
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared brownie tin and smooth it out
  7. Bake in the oven for approx. 25-30 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven and leave to cool before cutting the brownies into pieces and serving 

Tip: With chopped nuts or berries as a topping, your brownies will be a real eye-catcher!
